  • The primary role of the medication aide is passing resident medications as ordered by the provider.   • Surgical Technologist/ER Technician

  • The Surgical Technologist/ER Technician works under the supervision of the physician and/or RN. Scrubs and assists in the OR/ER and is responsible for the cleaning and sterilizing of instruments and supplies for the hospital. Also responsible for the ordering of all supplies to ensure the OR/ER is adequately equipped, cleaned and prepared for all patient care. Must have a working knowledge of basic clinical skills in delivery of patient care. Must exhibit a cooperative work attitude toward co-employees, management, patients, visitors, and physicians. Good communication skills are necessary because of the constant communication, both oral and written, with patients, families, visitors, and medical center staff. Maintains confidentiality. Must be a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) and must be registered on the ND Board of Nursing Unlicensed Assistive Persons Registry. Must have graduated from an accredited program for Surgical Technology. Previous training or experience in an Operating Room and Central Supply is preferred.   • The Nurse Aide/Medication Aide helps residents lead a happy and productive life through tasks done individually or in a large group. The Nurse Aide performs resident care activities. Works in cooperation with and promotes positive relationships between co-workers, other department co-workers, residents, and their family members. Must be able to work effectively with team members, supervisors, residents and their families to accomplish team goals.   • The primary functions of a hospice CNA/Homemaker are performing various patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. The services of a hospice aide are given under the direction and supervision of a RN. Services may be provided in the patient’s home, long term care facility or in the hospital. Previous nurse aide experience is preferred. Responds effectively in emergency and stressful situations. Ability to arrange and rearrange daily schedule, taking into consideration the duration and location of scheduled visits, meetings, unexpected situations, etc. Requires a high school education and CNA license.

  • The Charge Nurse is a critical thinker, team leader, and team player. The Charge Nurse is a positive role model and is able to share knowledge freely. Requires knowledge and oversight of basic care licensing regulations. The Charge Nurse is accountable for delivering care to the resident utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for admission of new residents; overseeing and implementing the resident care plans; establishing communication with residents, families, physicians, other staff; and functioning as a resident advocate. The Charge Nurse will be responsible for assisting the Director with the day-to-day operations of the facility including ensuring that staff are trained to perform the duties of their job through orientation and ongoing education; supervision of staff; policy review and implementation; scheduling; and keeping the facility in compliance with federal and state regulations. The Charge Nurse will oversee the infection prevention program for Senior Suites. Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment and possess strong organizational skills. Must exhibit empathy for others. Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing and hold a current RN licensure with North Dakota Board of Nursing. Knowledgeable on basic care licensing regulations. Proficient computer and nursing equipment knowledge. Two or more years of nursing experience, as well as geriatric experience is preferred.

  • The Senior Suites Services Associate is responsible for providing support for the team caregivers. Primary functions include chart assembly, transcription of physician orders, reception duties, and distribution of incoming and outgoing correspondence, admission procedures and general medical record procedures. The Senior Suites Services Associate must have good communication skills in order to effectively provide quality service to all residents/customers. They will actively participate in and support a self-directed team environment. This position comes in contact with each resident and almost every department at some point throughout their schedule. The employees in this position must possess excellent communication skills and teamwork. Must possess strong computer skills. Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Must learn Medicaid billing regulations. Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.

  • The Radiologic Technologist produces diagnostic quality images while ensuring quality patient care along with efficient patient flow through the department. A minimum of one year of experience in an acute care facility and in emergency and trauma is preferred. Cross-training opportunities are available. Must be a high school graduate or equivalent and a graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.  Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.  Must possess a current license with the ND Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy. Certification in Basic Life Support is required and will be offered by the facility. Certification in CT, Mammo or Ultrasound is preferred.
