Visitors will be screened by reception and are not required to wear a mask. No visiting if ill.
Patients admitted to SMC:
- Unlimited visitors per patient per day.
Patients in the ER:
- Unlimited visitors; nurse discretion for number of visitors in room at one time.
OR/Surgical Clinic:
- Per routine surgical team instructions.
Suspected/known COVID-19 patients:
- No visitors will be allowed in rooms of persons under investigation (PUIs) for COVID-19 or with known COVID-19 unless at the end of life. Visitors must follow protective measures including appropriate PPE and may not linger in waiting room/hallways.
The Sakakawea Medical Center Foundation Golf Tournament is scheduled for June 18. The goal of this event is to assist SMC Foundation is securing funding needed to help SMC continue to provide quality healthcare close to home.
